This 3 day course, led by William "Bart" Bartholomew and Dave Jarvis, teaches the student basic fundamentals in long rifle shooting at distances out to 1300+ yards.

About the Instructors
William "Bart" Bartholomew
Bart is former United States Marine Corps veteran and competitive shooter, as well as a retired Baltimore County SWAT Sniper Team Leader. Bart has over 48 years of long rifle experience, with 20 of those years being an operational Counter Sniper. He has attended numerous sniper-related schools in his career and has been invited as a guest speaker at symposium venues. He is well-recognized in the sniper community for his past accomplishments: -Founder and Coordinator of the Baltimore County Counter Sniper School for 16 years -Program Manager and Lead Instructor for Counter Sniper Tactics to clients in the Global War on Terror, both CONUS/OCONUS, for the United States Government DOD -Range Designer and past Director of Training for Whitefeather Precision Shooting -Range Designer and Lead Instructor at the Bergara Academy in Belt, Montana prior to relocating the training program to Buffalo Nickel Lodge in Greensburg, Kansas -Past recipient of the prestigious Carlos Hathcock Jr. Award given by the NDIA Bart is an avid hunter and fisherman, and he enjoys the outdoors as much as his busy teaching schedule allows.
Dave Jarvis
Dave served 20 years in the United States Marine Corps, with the majority of that time in the Reconnaissance Community. While serving, he had the opportunity and privilege to attend several Sniper Schools which gave him the collateral duty in combat as a seasoned precision shooter within his team. He has multiple combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan in support of the Global War on Terrorism and is heavily awarded and decorated for his achievements. Since his retirement in 2015, Dave: -Volunteers for the Force Recon Association to support the Recon Community and their families -Graduated from the Swan Mountain Outfitters Guide School in Montana -Now instructs the Marksmanship Program at Swan Mountain Outfitters Guide School -Serves as a Range Safety Officer for Seeley Lake's Shooting Range -Works side-by-side with Bart since the start of the Bergara Academy in 2018 Dave has a great passion for the outdoors - including camping, hunting, fishing, and shooting firearms. He currently resides in Montana with his retired Marine Chief Warrant Officer wife, Tina, where he has the opportunity to pursue this amazing lifestyle.
